The illustration started as a non-commisioned portrait of Morrissey. Still, when I learned that Penguin published Morrissey's autobiography as Penguin Classic, I decided to play with it a bit to create alternative book covers (inspired by different vintage Penguin books).
The portrait was hand drawn with a pencil, inked with Copic Multiliners SP and coloured in PS.
