"Poisoned Loaf"
5 colour screen print printed with metallic inks in three variants:
Copper on Colorstyle Recycling Champagne 270gr paper
Gold on Remake Oyster 250gr paper
Silver on Munken Pure 240gr paper
Size: 30,5 x 96cm
Each variant comes in signed and numbered limited edition of 450.
The basic illustration was hand drawn with a pencil and inked with Copic Multiliners.
The piece was originally commissioned back in 2013 as a poster for the Polish-American opera which told the story of post-war immigrants from Poland trying to live the American Dream but never really succeeding in it. The poster with its unusual format pays tribute to both the art-nouveau opera posters and the polish folk motives combined with the American fast-food symbols.
